Operating Session October 03, 2003 Here Mark is doing some switching on the newly open branch line. This is a Santa Fe GP 30 heading across a trestle on the branch line. This is a siding in Citrus Heights This is El Centro, with Dick Barker at the throttles. Richard Doramus is giving the all stop signal to Tony Burzio. Meet Gilbert Valdez and his son, they are getting a train ready to leave National City Yard heading to San Diego. Here Jeff Harrison is servicing his engines before heading out for a hard days work on the main line. Hey, is the switch thrown??? Maybe the engine stalled, give it a hit!!!! Do you think its working yet???? This is Jim Bence, the clubs President. He's doing some switching at Citrus Heights. Looking good! That's it, now its off to Oceanside before the sun goes down. Look's like Jim made it to Oceanside and is dropping off some dry goods. 1, 2, and 3 and were done. This is Marty Young and he's putting together his freight at National City Yard. Just a few more cars and were off to San Diego.
